I’m Miya, Founder and Managing Director of Ziv Learning.
I founded this company out of my deep commitment to helping children thrive, both
academically and personally. Over the years, my experience working with children has allowed
me to identify key areas for improvement in how education is delivered.
At Ziv Learning, we're driven by the belief that every child deserves a personalised, focused
environment where they can grow, build confidence, and achieve their best.

About Miya
With a deep-rooted passion for education and child development, Miya founded Ziv Learning with a clear mission: to create a supportive, personalised learning environment that nurtures the unique potential of each student. In other words, boosting each child’s brilliance. After years of hands-on experience working with children of all ages, Miya recognised the transformative power of quality early childhood education specifically. She questioned why the same principles of individual care and tailored learning aren’t more widely applied to students as they grow older.
As a specialist in learning and development, Miya has dedicated much of her career to understanding the intricate ways in which children grow socially, emotionally, and academically. She has seen firsthand how many schools, nurseries, and educational services, often constrained by time and resources, struggle to provide the dedicated attention that every child deserves. This more rigid, one-size-fits-all approach can sometimes hinder progress, creating gaps in both knowledge and confidence.
Similarly, Miya has observed opportunities for improvement within the tuition industry, which, in many cases, lacks standardisation. Having worked extensively as a tutor, she became acutely aware of the lack of training and support offered by many agencies. Without proper guidance, tutors often struggle to adapt their methods to meet the needs of each child, resulting in missed learning opportunities.
To address these challenges, Miya founded Ziv Learning, where the training of tutors in tailored teaching is non-negotiable. This ensures the best possible outcomes for both Learners and Educators. Miya is proud to lead a team of dedicated professionals who share her mission of providing high-quality tuition that inspires confidence and fosters academic growth. She firmly believes that every child has many layers, and the best way to empower their learning is to first understand them relationally.
Miya envisions Ziv Learning as a hub where supported Educators guide all Learners to be their best.
